Women's basketball watchlist: 11/30 edition
Say hello to another loaded day of women’s hoops. Here’s your daily watchlist.
BE SEATED AT ALL COSTS
These are the games you’re going to want to skip work for – the ones that will tell us a whole lot about the best of the best.
1pm: Fairfield at Iowa (BTN)
This is a fun one. Fairfield is certainly one of the best mid-majors in the country and has become an NCAA Tournament regular. They’ll be tested in a tough home environment for Iowa, who’s on a roll right now.
1:30pm: Indiana vs. Iowa State (Flo)
Iowa State is largely untested and will face an Indiana team with lower expectations than usual. The Hoosiers are undefeated and have shot the ball well so far this season behind Shay Ciezki and Lenée Beaumont.
3pm: Oregon at Auburn (SECN+)
This game should be a great litmus test for two undefeated squads. Larry Vickers has Auburn off to an undefeated start in his first season at the helm — we’ll see if it stays that way.
4:30pm: Tennessee at UCLA (FS1)
Tennessee at UCLA is, of course, the game of the day. UCLA is coming off the Players Era Tournament, where they lost their first game to Texas, but bounced back with a win over Duke. The question is: will they have Lauren Betts?
6:30pm: Oklahoma vs. Florida State (Flo)
Oklahoma resumes competitive action with a test against a Florida State team that’s having a down year. Regardless, it’s another chance to figure out just how high the Sooners ceiling may be.

6:30pm: Michigan State vs. Clemson (Flo)
This is one of the sneaky best matchups of the week. Michigan State is undefeated, but also untested. Clemson gave Louisville some trouble not too long ago. I’ve got my eyes on this game.
THIS COULD BE COMPETITIVE/FUN
These matchups are more than just your run-of-the-mill easy blowouts. While some of them have the potential to be, these games are an opportunity to see good teams test themselves early.

A DECENT LOOK AND/OR AT OPTIMAL TIMES
These games will either be a solid look at a team or they just fall at optimal times. If you’re in need of basketball to watch all day (like me), these are games to add to your list.

WATCH YOUR TEAM WIN A BLOWOUT
The rest of the games here will likely provide no true competitive value – but you never know. These games are just a look at some P5’s playing teams they should beat with ease.
