On Saturday, Kentucky (2-1, 0-1) and South Carolina (2-2, 0-2) will square off at 7:45 p.m. ET in Williams-Brice Stadium. Quarterback Cutter Boley will be starting for Kentucky, despite Zach Calzada being listed as questionable.

Boley started last game for the Wildcats in their 48-23 win over Eastern Michigan in Week 3. He completed 12-of-21 pass attempts for 240 yards and two touchdowns, without throwing an interception.

South Carolina will be hungry to welcome Boley to SEC play after suffering losses in its past two games. Most recently, the Gamecocks fell 29-20 to Missouri.

The Gamecocks have far fewer injuries than Kentucky, but will still need a solid effort to pick up their first conference win of the season. Check out both teams’ complete availability reports below.

History isn’t on Kentucky’s side in the matchup. South Carolina has won its last three meetings against the Wildcats. The Gamecocks dominated Kentucky 31-6 last season. Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops knows his team will need to put their best foot forward to down the Gamecocks.

“It’s going to be a great challenge. A game that’s important to both of us. And a South Carolina team that’s very good coming off a tough loss,” Stoops said. “I’m sure they’ll be amped up and our team will be prepared and ready to go.”

Stoops isn’t the only who isn’t overlooking the pivotal showdown. South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer is prepared for a war against the Wildcats.

“You have to go beat them,” Beamer said of Kentucky. “They’re extremely well-coached, they got really good players. I know last season did not go the way they wanted record-wise, but you can see they corrected whatever issues they had from last season.

“They’ve got a really impressive group right now, offense, defense, and special teams. Some players that are a year older in their program, impact transfers that they’ve brought in on all three phases, so we’ve got a big challenge.”

Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see which team emerges from the challenge triumphant. On Saturday, Kentucky and South Carolina will go head-to-head at 7:45 p.m. ET. The game will air live on the SEC Network.
