Oakland long-range shooter and social media sensation Jack Gohlke has landed another NIL deal.

Gohlke has partnered with Formula Bot, an AI-powered data analyst that helps you work faster and smarter with data. This is Gohlke’s six significant NIL deal since he took March Madness by storm. His 32-point performance propelled 14th-seeded Oakland to an 80-76 win over third-seeded Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Along with the Formula Bot deal, Gohlke has signed NIL partnerships with Buffalo Wild Wings, OOFOS, The NIL Store, Intuit TurboTax and Barstool Sports.

“He’s making the most of his moment in the sun,” an NIL agent who doesn’t work with Gohlke told On3. “When you think of the NIL in the traditional sense, this is exactly what it should be. A March Madness hero cashing in on the national exposure. I love it. Get it while you can.”

Gohlke started his career at Division III Hillsdale College, where he led the Chargers to their first-ever Elite Eight appearance in the 2021-2022 season. He was named to the NCAA Midwest Regional All-Tournament team for his performance, which included a 21-point outburst with five made 3-pointers in a Midwest Regional semifinal upset of second-seeded Ferris State.

Gohlke was just one 3-pointer shy of tying the tournament record against Kentucky, consistently draining shots well behind the arc. His performance helped Oakland win their second NCAA Tournament game, their first coming back in a 2005 play-in game.

Jack Gohlke’s other NIL deals

It didn’t take long for brands to reach out to Jack Gohlke after his breakout performance.

By the time the final seconds ticked off and Kentucky was trying to grapple with another March ending in upset, Gohlke, who came off the bench, was trending on social media. He’s not left the spotlight since.

His first NIL deal came through a partnership with Campus Ink and The NIL Store shortly after stepped off the court.

“This is what merch madness is all about for us,” Campus Ink vice president Adam Cook told On3. Helping athletes who do unforgettable things on the court commemorate and monetize those moments through merchandise. The Campus Ink team is always looking for ways to help athletes take advantage of the big moments when all eyes are on them, and we hope there are many more of those for Jack.”

He then added a Barstool deal and even shot the video for the TurboTax and OOFOS deals while still in the Oakland team hotel.

While Oakland’s Cinderella story ended in the second round, fans – and brands – still can’t get enough of Jack Gohlke.

“The legend of Jack Gohlke is going to go on, and Oakland is going to be associated with that,” Oakland coach Greg Kampe said.
