Florida vs. South Carolina Preview and Prediction

Trevor Etienne is growing his NIL brand next to his brother.

The Florida running back has inked an endorsement deal with Chipotle, starring in a new advertisement for the fast-casual Mexican chain with his older brother, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne.

The pair of running backs from Jennings, Louisiana, have been working together on marketing deals throughout the year. They’re starring in an energy drink campaign throughout the season for Ellianos Coffee, a drive-through coffee shop chain in the Southeast.

In the Chipotle deal launched on Tuesday, the brothers are in a new advertisement for the restauarant. Travis coaches Trevor through a series of on-field workouts before the two go to Chipotle. It’s a fun commcerial, playing up on brotherhood and Travis’ long-time role of coaching up his younger brother.

“As Trevor’s big bro, I take pride in setting the pace, but his work ethic has pushed me to be better, too,” Travis said in a statement. “We both love Chipotle and are always grabbing our go-to bowls after training sessions.”

The Etienne brothers will be showcased in Chipotle’s upcoming marketing campaign across digital properties.

Chipotle has spent marketing dollars in NIL since 2021, signing a range of notable names including UConn basketball star Azzi Fudd. Chipotle partnered with Clemson running back Will Shipley and eight Ohio State players this fall, too.

Trevor Etienne excelling in Year 2 at Florida

Trevor Etienne had a breakout 2022 season, finishing with the fourth most rushing yards by a true freshman tailback in Florida history. Earning Freshman All-SEC honors, he averaged 6.1 yards per carry. Etienne has had a touch-and-go season on the field, starting off slow against Utah and missing last week’s win over Vanderbilt.

The 5-foot-9, 205-pound tailback has carried the ball 60 times this season, racking up 358 yards and two touchdowns while averaging six yards per carry. His best game of the season came in September, when the Gators knocked off Tennessee in The Swamp and Etienne rushed for 172 yards on 23 carries.

Working closely with Sam Leaf at the Ballengee Group, he’s also built out an NIL portfolio, too. He partnered with GAMEDAY Products last year and has signed with the Gator-driven NIL collective Florida Victorious. He released a limited edition collectible before the Utah game with Gataverse, an OpenLocker fan community. The autographed card grants access to a meet-and-greet with the Etienne.

Etienne was also one of the nine college football players to join 7-Eleven’s “Cleat Crew.” As part of the campaign, the athletes will team up with luxury designer The Shoe Surgeon to create their own individual pair of custom cleats that fans can win through weekly auctions. Proceeds from each sale of custom cleats will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, a longtime partner of 7-Eleven.

The Florida running back has built a major brand with more than 72,000 social media followers. He also has a $355,000 On3 NIL Valuation, which ranks in the top 200 of the college football NIL rankings
