How to watch Arkansas at Memphis

Time: Noon ET
Channel: TBD/Fubo TV (Streaming)
Location: Memphis, TN

Saturday will be the sixth all-time meeting between these two programs. The previous five all came during the 1990s during the regular season.

The first three matchups went in favor of the Tigers, including a 6-0 shutout in Fayetteville. Arkansas won the final two matchups in 1995 and 1998, respectively. Memphis and Arkansas have not played each other on the gridiron ever since.

However, Memphis could prove to be a major hurdle for the Razorbacks. The Tigers are coming off consecutive 10-win seasons for the first time in program history under head coach Ryan Silverfield. This includes bowl wins in the Liberty (2023) and Frisco (2024) Bowls during that span.

Arkansas returned to a bowl game in 2024 after failing to reach the six-win threshold the previous season. Ironically, the Razorbacks won the Liberty Bowl last season to finish the year 7-6 overall.

Head coach Sam Pittman is in his sixth season at the helm of the Razorbacks program. His best year with the program came in 2021, finishing 9-4 during his second year as head coach. Arkansas has failed to capture the same magic in the several years since, but have hope 2025 will be a year to remember in Fayetteville.

Arkansas dominated its first two non-conference opponents, hanging 56 and 52 points, respectively, against Alabama A&M and Arkansas State. They outscored those two programs 108-21 to start the season.

Heading into the season, questions surrounded what Pittman’s future with the program will look like. A strong 2025 season could keep that going for the foreseeable future.

Up next for Arkansas after Memphis is it’s toughest non-conference matchup to date — at home against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. After that, it’s back to SEC play for the Razorbacks. They’ll take on the likes of Tennessee, Texas A&M, Auburn, LSU, Texas and Missouri down the stretch in the regular season. All of these teams have been ranked at some point this season.
