The Tennessee <a href="https://www.tennesseetitans.com/">Titans</a> reached into their bag of red zone tricks during the early moments of the second quarter on Sunday’s Christmas Eve matchup vs. the Seattle Seahawks. 



Titans running back <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/derrick-henry-35100/">Derrick Henry</a> was given a routine carry by returning quarterback <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/ryan-tannehill-103793/">Ryan Tannehill</a>, but tight end <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/chigoziem-okonkwo-21168/">Chigoziem Okonkwo</a> split out on a flag route unguarded and before Henry broke the line of scrimmage — found Okonkwo wide open in the end zone for the opening touchdown of the day.



The play was good for Henry’s fourth touchdown pass of his career, and second of the 2023-24 season.

Henry is on track to securing his fifth 1,000-yard rushing season in the last six years, having compiled 884 yards on the season before Sunday’s matchup vs. Seattle. He’s also contributed over 200 yards receiving for Tennessee this season as well. 



If he surpasses the 1,000-yard threshold, Henry will be less than 700 yards away from a 10,000-yard career. He has nearly 1,500 career receiving yards, making him one of the most productive running backs in the NFL over the last decade. 



<h2 id="h-will-levis-out-ryan-tannehill-is-in-for-titans-vs-seattle">Will Levis out, Ryan Tannehill is in for Titans vs. Seattle</h2>



Last week, Seattle pulled off a miraculous win over the reigning NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles, while the Titans fell in heartbreaking fashion to the Houston Texans. Now, both are hoping to deliver their fans a present in the form of a win this afternoon.



One of the players who is missing from the field is the Titans’ promising quarterback <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/will-levis-120894/">Will Levis</a>. Levis is sitting out on Sunday, opening up the door for the return of <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/ryan-tannehill-103793/">Ryan Tannehill</a> to the lineup.



“#Titans QB Will Levis (questionable, ankle) is unlikely to start Sunday vs. Seahawks, per source, setting the stage for Ryan Tannehill to make his first start since Week 6,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported. 



As Fowler reported, Levis is continuing to recover from an ankle injury. The rookie quarterback suffered the injury in the closing minutes of last week’s loss against the Texans in overtime. Levis returned to practice for Tennessee and was hoping to “tough it out,” but it doesn’t look like that’ll be the case.



Before taking the big hit that knocked him out at the end of the game, Levis went 17-for-26 for 199 passing yards with one interception. He had a tough day behind an offensive line that allowed seven sacks for a loss of 61 yards against the Texans defensive front.



On the year, Levis is 147-for-249 since taking over for the aforementioned Tannehill. He has 1,792 passing yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions.



With Levis unable to play, Tannehill started once again for Tennessee. He hasn’t played since the team’s October 15 game against the Ravens in London.
