Jacksonville Jaguars DE Travon Walker ejected in game vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars pass rusher Travon Walker was ejected Sunday for throwing a punch in the game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders led 9-6 in the third quarter at the time.
Walker had one assisted tackle in the game before being thrown out. Coming in (six games), Walker had just five solo tackles and two sacks on the season.
You can see the punch thrown in the video below. He was in the middle of a scuffle with Raiders’ linemen and decided to throw a right hook.
Walker played 49 of a possible 51 regular season games for the Jaguars over the course of his first three seasons out of Georgia. In total (prior to Sunday), Walker had 176 total tackles (87 solo), 30 tackles for loss and 26 sacks, which included 10+ the last two seasons. Walker was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-5 and 272-pound fourth-year player was forced to leave an Ocotber 26-21 win over San Francisco in the second quarter with a serious wrist injury. Walker saw a wrist specialist and underwent surgery that week. But, it only caused him to miss one game this year.
At Georgia, Walker broke out during his final season (2021), logging 37 tackles and six sacks. He had 9.5 total sacks with the Bulldogs and helped them win the College Football Playoff National Championship during his final season.
As a member of the Class of 2019, Walker was a five-star recruit out of Thomaston (Ga.) Upson-Lee, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He was the No. 5 overall prospect in the state, the No. 4 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 27 overall prospect in the class.
