Jared Goff reveals his Halloween 2025 costume along with his daughter, wife

Jared Goff has developed a reputation for having some of the best Halloween costumes of any NFL player. Some of his costumes over the years have included Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights, Will Wonka and B-Rad from Malibu’s Most Wanted.
The Detroit Lions quarterback also has something creative up his sleeve for this year’s Halloween festivities. Goff appeared on Monday night’s Manningcast with Peyton and Eli Manning during a game beteen the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Commanders, where he revealed his plans for his costume.
“I’m gonna be a chef this year and my brand new daughter is a mouse like Ratatouille,” he said. “So she’s up in my hat helping me cook. Then my wife, Christen, is also gonna be a mouse for the Halloween party. Baby won’t be there, so it’ll work just as well.”
Goff’s daughter was born in July, and this costume idea certainly sounds like it will be adorable. Hopefully we’ll get a few photos of how it looks on social media.
Goff’s prowess at picking the perfect costue goes back to when he was a kid. He recalled going dressed as Peyton Manning to school one day when he had to give a report on a “historical figure,” something Manning gave him a little flack for referring to him as.

“I don’t know if it was Halloween or I think we were doing a book report on dress up as a historical figure,” Goff said. “At the time, it was either Peyton or Tom growing up and I was a Peyton guy. I dressed up as you and went to school. Had the pants on, the pads, the jersey and talked about your childhood and probably career up to that point.”
Goff and the Lions had a bye this past week, giving him even more time to devote to his costume preparation. The party he plans to attend is on Friday evening, two days before Detroit is set to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.
Goff is in his 10th NFL season and his fifth with the Lions, who are off to a 5-2 start. He has thrown for 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns to only three interceptions thus far.
The QB will hope to continue putting up those kinds of numbers as Detroit has its sight set on a deep postseason run. Before then, though, he’ll show off his Halloween expertise with yet another creative costume.
