Three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano wouldn’t mind competing in a Model T if it were possible. On X/Twitter, Logano posted a video of himself drifting in a 1924 Ford Model T in the snow. He also shared a picture of his family inside the vehicle.

Logano showed off his drifting skills as a huge winter storm hit the Eastern United States this weekend. This also comes one week before Logano and the NASCAR Cup Series drivers compete in the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Joey Logano looks to have a strong 2026 season after recording a solid 2025 campaign. Despite winning just one race last year, the 35-year-old finished seventh in the final standings. Logano has finished in the top 10 of the final standings seven times over the previous eight seasons.

Joey Logano shares thoughts on NASCAR changing championship format

Logano won his most recent championship in 2024. If he wants to win a fourth title, he will have to do it in a new playoff format. Earlier this month, NASCAR announced it will return to “The Chase” championship format for this year and beyond. This means there will no longer be any elimination rounds, and the driver with the most points after the 10-race postseason will be crowned the champion.

In November, Logano shared his thoughts on NASCAR potentially changing its postseason format. “I liked where it was, but I’m gonna like where we go, too. I’m OK with whatever they do, just tell me the rules, and then we gotta go figure out a way to win,” Logano told Donut Media. “It’s not my job to complain about what we have or what we’re gonna have. My job is to say ‘OK, this is the rules, let’s figure out the strategy to win this thing. Like, how do we do that?’ I don’t really care what it is, just tell me what it is so then we can focus on doing that.”

In his career, Logano has competed in 609 Cup Series races and has earned 37 wins. He won the Daytona 500 in 2015 and went on to win five more races that season.
