<a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/john-wall-63712/">John Wall </a>has landed a job on Prime Video after <a href="https://www.on3.com/pro/news/john-wall-announces-retirement-from-nba/">announcing his retirement</a> from the NBA. On Wednesday,<a href="https://x.com/NBAonPrime/status/1958197355326361803"> Prime Video announced</a> that the five-time All-Star will be an analyst for NBA on Prime. He will make appearances in-studio alongside <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/blake-griffin-10872/">Blake Griffin</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/dirk-nowitzki-37219/">Dirk Nowitzki</a>, Steve Nash, <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/dwyane-wade-39755/">Dwyane Wade,</a> Candace Parker and <a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/udonis-haslem-119152/">Udonis Haslem</a>.



“After 13 seasons in the NBA filled with unforgettable moments, I am excited to start a new chapter with NBA on Prime,” John Wall said in a press release. “This change is not just a career move; it’s a chance to stay close to the game I love and share the insights I’ve gained throughout my career playing point guard at the highest level.

Wall hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2022-2023 season, but he officially announced his retirement on Tuesday. The 34-year-old was selected No. 1 overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2010 NBA Draft. He was selected to the NBA All-Rookie Team in 2011 and was named an All-Star for the first time in 2014, which is the same year he won the Slam Dunk contest. Wall was named an All-Star for five consecutive seasons (2014-2018), was selected to the All-NBA Third Team in 2017 and was an NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection in 2015.



“Today, I’m stepping off the court and out away from the game,” Wall said in a video posted on his social media accounts. “Basketball will always be in my life, and as new opportunities present themselves, I feel now’s the time to walk confidently into my next chapter.”
