NASCAR playoff standings, Cup points updated after Ryan Preece, Joey Logano Talladega disqualifications

The NASCAR playoff standings and Cup points have been updated following the disqualifications of Ryan Preece and Joey Logano at Talladega. Both drivers were disqualified after post-race inspections, and it was a big blow for both as they finished in the top five on Sunday.
However, with 16 races remaining, Preece and Logano have plenty of time to put themselves in a position to secure a playoff berth. Here’s a look at the updated NASCAR playoff standings and Cup points.
Updated NASCAR playoff standings after Talladega
Austin Cindric won the Talladega race, and that means he is the sixth driver to clinch a playoff spot. There are now 10 playoff spots available with 16 races remaining in the regular season.
Christopher Bell remains on top of the playoff standings since he’s the only one to win three races. Kyle Larson is not far behind Bell as he has 15 playoff points.
