The Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion for their offensive coordinator job, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. Mannion has been in Green Bay for the last two seasons and helped Jordan Love earn a passer rating of 101.2 in 2025.

At the end of the 2023 NFL season, Sean Mannion retired as a player and joined the Packers coaching staff in 2024. The former NFL quarterback served as an offensive assistant in 2024 before being named quarterbacks coach the following season.

The St. Louis Rams (now Los Angeles Rams) selected Mannion in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was with the Rams for four seasons before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2019. Mannion was in Minnesota for two seasons and would then bounce between the Seattle Seahawks and the Vikings from 2021 to 2023. In his playing career, the 33-year-old appeared in 14 games with three starts and threw for 573 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.

“For me, as a player, I always knew that this would be the next step, so I really attacked my playing career with this kind of in the back of my mind, soaking up as much knowledge as I could to weaponize it for this new role I’m in here now,” Mannion told reporters in May, per ESPN.

“Really starting with that, and all those coaches in L.A. that I got to work with. Between playing experience and all the things I was able to learn from the coaches I worked with throughout my playing career, I think that’s kind of my biggest asset in terms of bringing that to the QB room.”

The Eagles are looking at Mannion and other candidates for the offensive coordinator position after parting ways with Kevin Patullo. In 2025, the Eagles finished 24th in total offense and 19th in scoring offense.

“I have decided to make a change at offensive coordinator,” Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said in the statement earlier this month. “I met with Kevin today to discuss the difficult decision, as he is a great coach who has my utmost respect. He has been integral to this team’s success over the last five years, not only to the on-field product but behind the scenes as a valued leader for our players and organization. I have no doubt he will continue to have a successful coaching career.”
