Ricky Stenhouse Jr. went after Carson Hocevar at the end of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Mexico City. Once the cars were parked, Stenhouse went to Hocevar’s car and began yelling at him.

The broadcast on Prime Video didn’t catch what Stenhouse said to Hocevar. However, Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic said that when he spoke to Stenhouse after the incident, and he said, “I told him I was going to beat his ass once we got back in the States.”

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. didn’t like how Carson Hocevar raced him during the Mexico City. During the event, Hocevar spun out, which caused a caution, and it led to Stenhouse saying that Hocevar “brings out BS cautions all the time.” Later in the race, Hocevar unintentionally spun Stenhouse, and he said, “Tell him I will see him at Pocono.”

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Carson Hocevar have been through this before

This is not the first time Stenhouse and Hocevar had a run-in this year. Earlier this month at Nashville, Hocevar bumped Stenhouse, spinning Stenhouse’s No. 47 Chevrolet into the wall, and ended his day early. After the race, both drivers said they talked it out and the conversation was “productive.”

“I felt like we had good conversations,” Stenhouse said, per NASCAR.com. “I let him know how I felt about it. He kind of walked through the scenario of what he was thinking during that situation and how he basically wishes he could have changed that. So, yeah, I thought it was productive.”

“Me and him both have the reputation, I guess, of both being aggressive at times,” Hocevar said. “So at one point, we both reminded each other that even with those reputations, obviously we’ve raced each other very well together. We’ve had no issues before, as he had said, and feel like we’ve had a decent relationship leading up to this, so I thought it was productive. And based off his comments, I felt like it was received (well).”
