Scott Hanson has a strong partnership with Lowe’s, and it was on full display at the 2025 NFL Draft as he got a first look at the Green Room, the place where the top draft picks waited to hear their name called during the draft weekend. On3 spoke to the NFL RedZone host in the NFL Draft Green Room Built by Lowe’s in Green Bay, and Hanson shared his reaction when he first saw the room.

“This is the biggest green room I’ve ever been in, and that includes Las Vegas which had a lot of space too. Lowe’s did an amazing job here, and it’s the perfect backdrop for the emotions that we know we will see come night one,” Hanson told On3 before the first night of the draft. “Millions of football fans trust Lowe’s with their homes. The NFL trusts Lowe’s to build what is the delivery room ‘for the birth of NFL dreams.’

How Lowe’s created the NFL Draft Green Room

The 2025 NFL Draft Green Room was inspired by a luxury cigar lounge and embraces a refined rustic aesthetic. It was located in the Resch Center, a 10,000-plus multi-purpose arena located right next to the home of the Green Bay Packers, Lambeau Field.

On3 also spoke to Clayvon Lowe, the senior director of product design and trend at Lowe’s, and he revealed how the setup came about. “Lowe’s has a great partnership with the NFL and this is actually the first time that the NFL has partnered with Lowe’s to design the green room space,” Lowe said. “So we started out with a theme, which was Luxury Cigar Lounge, and from that we started pulling inspiration from different places and looking at different pieces that, we wanted to include to make sure the space was comfortable and inviting and also elevated. So what you see here is just the culmination of all those product that we pulled together from Lowes.com.”

Scott Hanson on what he loves most about Lowe’s

Erin Jahn, NFL’s senior director of hospitality and events, revealed to On3 the best thing about the league’s partnership with Lowe’s. “There are a lot of wonderful things about the partnership, but the collaboration is so important and is so wonderful and we experienced that through the entire planning process,” Jahn said. “We ideated together, we executed together, we made sure it felt NFL-centric and Lowe’s-centric and it was the perfect marriage and I think it came to fruition beautifully.”

Scott Hanson wasn’t the only NFL personality to preview the Green Room as Packers legend and Super Bowl champion Clay Matthews spent time there also. That was new for Matthews as he didn’t get the Green Room experience when he was drafted by the Packers in 2009.

Hanson’s time in the Green Room is one of the many great things he loves about his partnership with Lowe’s. “Lowe’s cares about their customers, he said. “I’ve seen it behind the scenes, I’ve seen it in front of the camera, and a company that takes care of their customers will thrive and flourish. A company that takes care of their customers when their customers are building their lives, literally where their customers live is how Lowe’s interacts with their customers.”
