Snoop Dogg embraced Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers ahead of the Sunday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The hip-hop legend shared the moment with Rodgers during the NBC pregame show Football Night in America.

Snoop Dogg is a big Steelers fan, so it’s no surprise that he showed love to Aaron Rodgers. However, the 54-year-old was not sure about Rodgers when he was deciding to sign with the Steelers or retire earlier this year.

“Is he going to show up to mini-camp and all the other stuff? Because that’s what’s important. Like if you don’t get the rhythm of the team, then we don’t need you, homie,” Snoop Dogg said of the four-time league MVP on ESPN’s First Take in April. “You’ve got to come in here and do what we need to be done to get the rhythm and the chemistry. That’s what’s missing. Like, whoever we going to get got to come in and get down with us. We don’t need no divas so to speak. So, if he’s going to sign, sign. If not, kick rocks.”

Will Aaron Rodgers return to the Steelers in 2026?

Ultimately, Rodgers signed with the Steelers and has led the team to a 5-3 start to the year. In those eight games, Rodgers has completed 68.7 percent of his passes for 1,692 yards, 17 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

It looks like Rodgers is showing no signs of slowing down. But with him signing a one-year contract with the Steelers, will he return to the team in 2026?

“My understanding is the Steelers have really, really enjoyed the Aaron Rodgers experience,” Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said last month. “Coaches, executives, players. He has bonded with several young players in the locker room. I would not be surprised, based on how he is and how he’s playing, if they want him back for another year despite just signing him to a one-year deal. Until Rodgers says he is for sure, for sure retiring after this year, we will continue to wonder.”
