Following an upset loss to Georgia Tech in Week 3, Clemson’s matchup with Syracuse got that much more interesting. Ahead of the matchup, the early point spread has been released.

The Tigers opened as 17.5-point favorites against the Orange, according to BetMGM. The over-under also opened at 54.5 points.

Clemson is looking to avoid a 1-3 start to the year after falling to Georgia Tech. Here’s how to watch the ACC matchup in Week 4.

How to watch Syracuse at Clemson

Date/Time: Sept. 20, Noon ET
Channel: ABC or ESPN
Location: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, S.C.

Clemson struggled early against Georgia Tech before rallying to take a lead at one point. The game continued to go back and forth before the Yellow Jackets walked it off with a 55-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, sealing the upset victory at home.

Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik completed 15 of 26 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown, while also adding 62 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. However, he also threw an interception and lost a fumble.

The Clemson defense had a rough go, though, particularly stopping quarterback Haynes King. He led the charge with both his arm and his legs to help Georgia Tech pull off the upset. He completed 20 of 28 passes for 211 yards in the air while leading the Yellow Jackets with 25 carries, 101 yards and a touchdown on the ground. As a group, Georgia Tech ran for 147 yards.

Syracuse, meanwhile, is coming off a Friday night affair against Colgate. The Orange didn’t have any issues, cruising to the resounding 66-24 victory to bounce back from an up-and-down performance against UConn last week – a game which not only ended in overtime, but also with wind sprints on the field afterward.

Steve Angeli had a huge performance for Syracuse in the win, accounting for six total touchdowns. He completed 23 of 31 passes for 382 yards and five touchdowns while adding 21 rushing yards and a score on the ground to lead the charge.
