Texas RB Jaydon Blue declares for 2025 NFL Draft
Texas running back Jaydon Blue is turning pro, he announced Sunday evening. Blue has made the decision to enter the 2025 NFL Draft after spending three seasons with the Longhorns.
As a junior this past season, Jaydon Blue rushed for 730 yards and eight touchdowns. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry.
Jaydon Blue said earlier this season that he was hoping to enter the 2025 NFL Draft at the end of the year. Now he has made his decision official.
“It all depends on how I finish this season,” Jaydon Blue said ahead of the Peach Bowl. “You know, I would like to not have to come back another year. But you know, I’m going to do what’s best for me.
“But the main thing is I’m just focused on going to win a national championship.”
Blue had a monster game in the first round of the College Football Playoff against Clemson, rushing for 146 yards and two scores, while averaging 10.4 yards per attempt. He also had two receiving touchdowns in the Cotton Bowl against Ohio State.
A native of Houston, Jaydon Blue signed with Texas after being ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 11 running back in the country in the class of 2022, per the On3 Industry Rankings.
Texas OL Kelvin Banks declares for 2025 NFL Draft

Banks is widely regarded as one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the draft, a likely first rounder and potentially even the first offensive lineman off the board.
“After careful consideration, I have decided to forego my final season of eligibility and declare for the 2025 NFL Draft,” Kelvin Banks wrote. “I will always bleed burnt orange and cherish the memories I’ve made here. Thank you, Longhorn Nation, for everything. I look forward to representing Texas proudly in the next chapter of my journey.”
Banks is as experienced as they come on the offensive line.
In three seasons with the Longhorns, he played in and started 42 total games. He won the 2024 Lombardi Award and the 2024 Outland Trophy.
Twice during the 2024 season Kelvin Banks was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.
As he heads to the next level, Banks will look to continue bringing consistency on an every-down basis. He was remarkably consistent for Texas during his career and has considerable upside as a professional prospect.
