An ambitious initiative to dramatically expand the number of high school athletes graded by Rivals in every class.
Rivals Recruits is an ambitious initiative to dramatically expand the number of high school athletes graded by Rivals in every class. Led by Rivals scouts and recruiting insiders, the platform is also building Rivals Profiles for athletes across the U.S., giving athletes, families, coaches, and colleges a more complete view of recruiting opportunities.
Historically, Rivals has graded only about 3,000 football prospects per class. Rivals Recruits expands that model by grading potential blue-chip prospects earlier in their careers and evaluating a much larger group of college-worthy athletes across all levels.
Every athlete deserves a profile and the ability to control their story.
Athletes and parents can claim or create a Rivals Profile and manage stats, highlights, school information, measurables, and other key data.
Claiming a profile also unlocks a private dashboard with recruiting education, contact directories, and data insights.
With parental consent, profiles are $29.99 for the first year and renew at $59.99 annually. Membership also includes an On3 | Rivals National subscription at no additional cost.
For star-rated athletes, Rivals editors continue to manage key data, news, ratings, and rankings.
For most athletes, before they become stars, the recruiting journey starts with Rivals Radar.
Rivals Radar allows Rivals to grade potential blue-chip prospects earlier, before star ratings are assigned, while also expanding coverage to tens of thousands of college-worthy athletes across all levels.
Most Rivals Radar grades are created by Rivals scouts, recruiting insiders, and partner scouts as part of their ongoing traditional evaluation process. The goal is to build the largest database of graded recruits ever assembled, with those grades available free to athletes, parents, and college programs.
Athletes who want a deeper, personalized assessment can also, with parental consent, purchase a professional Rivals evaluation that includes a detailed scouting report, grade, and college projection.
When a player on Rivals Radar earns an official Rivals star rating, that prospect moves to Radar to Star.
Radar to Star only includes players previously listed on Rivals Radar. Many elite prospects are rated directly through the traditional Rivals rankings process and bypass both Rivals Radar and Radar to Star.
The list tracks athletes across multiple classes who move from a Radar grade to an official star rating.
Athletes who want to better understand how they compare to their peers, can purchase a comprehensive evaluation from the same Rivals scouts who contribute to Rivals Ratings.
The evaluation includes:
The evaluation requires parental consent and carries a one-time fee of $59.99, including access to the Rivals Profile dashboard. The profile renews annually at $59.99 and can be canceled at any time.
