Bjorn Beckstrom

I am a junior and three-sport student-athlete with a 3.66 GPA and a strong passion for football. At 5'11", 145 lbs., I primarily play Wide Receiver and also contribute at Safety. I have played flag football and football since 2nd grade, and my love for the game continues to grow as I challenge myself to become a better athlete, teammate, and leader. In addition to football, I compete in varsity basketball and track, which have helped me develop my speed, athleticism, discipline, and ability to work as part of a team. As a varsity basketball player, I have had the opportunity to compete at the State level. I have also received several football awards recognizing my performance and contributions to my team. Academics are also very important to me. I was accepted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore. I take pride in balancing the demands of being a student-athlete and maintaining high standards in the classroom. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and guides the way I treat others and approach my responsibilities. I strive to be the kind of teammate who is welcoming, encouraging, dependable, and willing to put the team first. I believe that being a great teammate is just as important as individual performance. My goal is to play college football while earning a degree in aviation. I hope to attend a college where I can continue developing as a football player, succeed academically, grow in my faith and character, and prepare for my future career as a pilot. I am excited for the opportunity to continue competing at the next level and to find a college football program where I can contribute both on and off the field.
