Following up on the July eval with a look strictly at the 2026 tape, I believe the improvement is real. The biggest jump is with his instincts and his trigger. He's coming downhill noticeably faster and with far less hesitation in both run support and the passing game, crashing down on pass catchers over the middle and in the flat more quickly, and he's arriving with intent. He's committed to the tackling process now rather than cutting down ball carriers, and the blows are more violent. Film Review Notes
Since we evaluated your 2025 film in the middle of July, I want to focus this review strictly on the 2026 updated tape, but within the context of what we discussed in the previous evaluation. I think the noticeable areas of improvement in the film are his instincts and ability to trigger towards contact. He looks less hesitant when coming downhill and striking ball carriers, especially pass catchers over the middle and to the flat. He appears to be much more committed to the tackling process and is not simply cutting down ball carriers, but giving more violent blows. I think his backpedal is still solid, as well as his range as a zone defender. He looks even more confident when the ball is in the air and comes down with contested catches. I like his movement skills in space and his top-end speed, but I still want to see improvement in those areas in order to help maximize his ceiling as a prospect.
