Plays bigger than his frame and is not shy of contact coming up in support. Anticipates and transitions well to get moving to the ball with nice range to track working in coverage or pursuit. Works the angles well to get to the reception point where he is aggressive at the reception point to challenge the pass. WEAKNESSES: Smaller in stature where he could be well served with bulking up and getting stronger. Will compete for the ball in the air and would like to see more aggressiveness going out to get it with his hands. Reliable tackler who will shoot low and ankle bite at times where he could benefit showing more ability to come to balance and execute a wrap tackle consistently. SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE: Like his overall skill set and the work he puts into the weight room will go a long way in determining his level of projection. Runs well and could use more plyo work and strength in his core to add burst and explosiveness to his game. Could use more work on his ball skills and should continue to hone man coverage techniques as there is limited exposure of this ability on video thus far. OVERALL SUMMARY/POTENTIAL PROJECTION LEVEL: Solid prospect with athleticism and physical tools to be a contributor at defensive back and on special teams pending his additional growth and maturity moving forward. He has the instincts and intangibles to fit at multiple positions pending his development. With current film he should receive good Division II and III interest with some possible FCS looks as well with hard work moving forward.
