Personal Life

I’m DJ Graham, a 2028 cornerback at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, Massachusetts. At 6’1”, 190 pounds, I bring length, physicality, speed, and competitiveness. My goal is to continue developing into a complete defensive back, win a high school championship or two, and earn the opportunity to compete at the Division I level. Football has been a major part of my life since I was young. I’ve played multiple positions, including running back and wide receiver, which has helped me understand the game from both sides of the ball. That experience helps me recognize routes, understand offensive concepts, anticipate what receivers are trying to do, and compete with confidence in coverage. I come from a football family. My father played collegiately, and my uncle played for the New York Giants and San Diego Chargers. Growing up with that football background has taught me the importance of preparation, discipline, toughness, and earning everything through hard work. My family is a major source of support and motivation as I pursue my goals. At St. John’s Prep, I was converted my freshman year to play cornerback for the first time. I compete against strong competition and focus on improving my technique, football IQ, communication, and physicality every day. I take pride in being a competitive corner who challenges receivers, makes plays on the ball, and enjoys tackling. I also compete in track and field, including the 55-meter and 100-meter sprints and 4x100 relays. Track has helped me develop my acceleration, speed, explosiveness, and discipline, all of which I bring to the football field. I’m looking for a college program where I can be coached at a high level, develop to my fullest potential, compete and contribute to a winning culture, and grow as a student-athlete and as a person. I’m coachable, competitive, humble, and willing to put in the work necessary to reach my goals.
