Reminds Us Of

Duce Robinson has wide receiver athleticism and movement skills in a tight end's body. His play style and physical traits remind us of Jimmy Graham. Both were also stars in other sports, with Graham going to play college basketball at Miami, while Robinson is a MLB Draft prospect. Robinson is a top football recruit, while Graham switched to the sport full-time in college.

Scouting Report
Jumbo athlete with a large catch radius who looks like one of the better tight end prospects over the last few recruiting cycles. Has plus stature and length at over 6-foot-6 and around 225 pounds with a 6-foot-10 wingspan. Plays and moves like a wide receiver at that size. A quick mover who showed continued improvement in top-end play speed as a junior and senior. Lines up on the outside and separates from defensive backs on vertical routes. Boasts a large catch radiuses with the ability to win in contested situations. Has also shown the ability to track the ball over his shoulder. Was the top pass-catcher at the Opening Finals prior to his junior season and created a considerable mismatch over the middle of the field. Turned in a very productive junior season with close to 1,000 receiving yards. Capped off his high school career with a big senior campaign, catching 84 passes for 1,614 yards and 14 touchdowns while leading his team to a state title appearance. Has an outstanding multi-sport profile as one of the nation’s top baseball prospects and also plays basketball. Will need to continue getting stronger to aid in blocking. While physically gifted and highly productive at the high school level, should see an uptick in overall polish and consistency with added focus on football.

Personal Life
Duce Robinson is one of the true two-sport stars in the Class of 2023. Along with his accolades in football, Robinson is also heavily courted in baseball and is a potential MLB prospect. Robinson has more than a dozen high-level baseball offers. Robinson -- who grew up watching Aaron Judge in baseball and Julio Jones and Davante Adams in football -- credits his father, Dominic Robinson, for developing him into the person he is. “I’m super fortunate to have him because he played at such a high level, and now he can teach and coach at such a high level,” Robinson told The Athletic. His father was also a two-sport star coming out of high school as a five-star football recruit who signed with the Rams who was also drafted by the Minnesota Twins. His father is now a prominent athletic trainer in Arizona. His mother, Mary Beth Robinson, was a swimmer at Florida.
