Taylor had a productive junior season with 39 catches for 574 yards and eight touchdowns. Played for Mosley High School in Lynn Haven, Florida, but made the move to California power program Sierra Canyon in the off-season. Missed much of Spring practice competing on the school's baseball team but draws rave reviews from the coaching staff, who called him a high Power 4 prospect with a ton of upside. *Not deficient but can continue to improve explosiveness down the field. *Can add some size, and strength in his upper body to become an even more affective in-line blocker. *A lot of free releases at the line so learning how to beat press, which he'll see a ton in college.
Film Review Notes
Impressive film and shows a well-rounded game. Catches short passes and can do something after the catch. Strong hands and will go over the middle. Can get vertical and make plays down the field. Can move from the slot to attached on the line. Very solid, willing blocker and big-effort guy who likes to compete.
