Jaylen Smith

My name is Jaylen Smith, and I’m a Class of 2027 running back at Talladega High School in Alabama. I come from a military family, with both of my parents being disabled veterans. Growing up, they taught me the importance of discipline, respect, hard work, and never giving up. Their strength and sacrifices motivate me every day. I'm 5'10, 210lbs and my 40 time is 4.62. I bench 380 and squat 500. I love playing running back and linebacker, but for the first time I'm playing fullback and I love it. Fullback is more challenging and competitive running. Every carry into a 7or 8 man box defense. Blocking 275-300 pound defensive lineman. I'm also the 2026 205 pound state weightlifting champion in the state of Georgia. Football is more than just a sport to me it’s my passion, but my family is my WHY. Every time I step on that field, I play with heart, purpose, and something to prove. I take pride in being hardworking, coachable, and always willing to put my team first. My goal is to continue my education, play college football, and make my family proud. I want to become the best version of myself both on and off the field and prove that with faith, dedication, and hard work, anything is possible. I'm truly looking forward to getting bigger, stringer and faster to compete at the highest level in the NCAA.
