Kam Davis Scouting Summary
Cody Bellaire
08/19/22

Rocked up running back prospect that runs with violence and has nimble feet for someone with his physique. Measures in at 5-foot-9.5, 200 pounds. Jumped a 29.5-inch vertical and a 9-foot-1 broad jump during the spring camp circuit prior to his junior season. Excellent ability to make defenders miss in a phone booth. Possess tremendous leg drive and the ability to pull through arm tackles. Lacks ideal top end speed, more of a doubles guy than a homerun threat. High floor prospect who will always be a pain to bring down between the tackles. One of the top baseball prospects in the country who has top-tier MLB draft potential.

Personal Life

According to Albany (Georgia) Dougherty High School coach Johnny Gilbert, Kameron Davis is a touchdown waiting to happen any time he touches the ball. “He just outruns everybody,” Gilbert said during the 2022 season. “It seems like the kid has about 10 different gears to get outside, to explode, to cut back, and then to explode to the end zone. He’s just amazing to watch.” Davis’ stats back up the high praise from his coach. As a junior, Davis ran for 2,736 yards, scored 20 touchdowns and averaged 16.7 yards. He was named Georgia’s Class AAA Player of the Year in 2022. Through his first three seasons of varsity football, Davis has rushed for 5,172 yards, 36 scores and a 16.1-yard average. But Davis says he’s still working hard at getting better. “I’m not letting it change my mindset,” Davis told the Albany Herald. “I know that it takes work, and I am going to go out on the field every Friday night and prove to people why they gave me that title.”
