Kannon Gilkey

I try my best to lead on and off the field. Also, I take great pride in my grades and succeeding in the classroom. When it comes to my sport I love learning, being challenged, and understand that failure is often part of the process of becoming the best. My faith is the foundation for everything I do. I live my life for Jesus Christ. I try to let my actions show what I believe through my effort, attitude and how I treat others. My favorite verse right now is Php 4:6-7, I really love the part where it says "tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts." I’m not the loudest guy in the gym, but I will work the hardest. Being challenged to do hard stuff and challenging myself motivates me big time. I always show up ready to work and I enjoy learning from my coaches and being a teammate who encourages & challenges. I want to be apart of a team where we are developed as men while we go after championships! If I’m part of your team, you’ll get someone who shows up every day with focus, hard work, and a team first attitude.
