Kiefer Patterson

Kiefer Patterson, 6'2", 285lbs, 83"WS, 10.75" Hands, Haitian Havoc, 2027 DT Buda Hays HS, TX #55. Committed to play at next level. Family has played a major role in shaping who Kiefer Patterson is both on and off the football field. Kiefer has grown up in a large family, alongside six adoptive siblings with disabilities, plus an additional 4 siblings, making a family of 13, which is an experience that has given him a perspective on life that extends far beyond football. Growing up in a large and unique family has taught him patience, compassion, responsibility, acceptance, and how to put the needs of others before his own. Those lessons carry over to the way Kiefer approaches football. He understands that every person has a role, that success takes sacrifice, and that being a great teammate means showing up for others even when no one is watching. He is fiercely competitive on the field, but off the field he is loyal, grounded, and deeply devoted to his family. Kiefer is also proud of his Haitian heritage and the strength and determination it represents to him. As a senior at Hays High School, he has worked to balance the demands of varsity football and academics, earning Academic All-District honors in 2025. Kiefer’s goal is to earn the opportunity to play college football while continuing his education. More than anything, he wants coaches to know they are getting someone who understands hard work, values his teammates, embraces adversity, and will give everything he has to the program and the people around him.
