Versatile, big-legged specialist who contributes in all three phases for his high school. Parrish is listed at an unverified 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, good size for a specialist. He plays offensive tackle and edge in addition to handling the kicking duties, taking field goals and punts and also handling kickoffs. He has been fairly low volume as a field goal kicker on Friday nights, which limits the sample size for evaluation. Through eight games, he has hit three of four field goal attempts with a long of 44 and has made four of five PAT attempts. He gets more work…

Top Attributes

- Leg strength and range - Quick, strong stroke - Athleticism and versatility - Upside with further kicking specialization

Areas to Develop

- More in-game attempts - Short range accuracy - Punt hangtime

Film Review Notes

Powerful, athletic specialist. Well-built for the position, with noticeable power through his lower body. Drives through the ball with a quick, strong stroke and generates easy force from his base. Looks more athletic than most kickers, which tracks with his ability to line up on both sides of the ball. Gets good end-over-end rotation on his field goals and strikes the ball with authority. Flips the field as a punter, though some punts come off low and could use more hangtime. Executed a well-timed onside kick in game action. Rarely gets to open up on kickoffs, with his team leaning on shorter kicks in what appears to be by design.

Personal Life

First off, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and everything I do is to glorify Him. My college aspirations revolve around my kicking and punting, but because of team shortages and my work in the weight room this offseason, I have also started every game at OT and EDGE. I broke my hand during our week 3 loss but have had it clubbed and continue to play. The broken hand has obviously had a negative impact on my punting numbers (I can't consistently get good drops to my punts) but in spite of that, I place the needs of my team above the needs of myself. I'm a four sport athlete, also a Captain Midfielder on my soccer team, tennis, and I throw shotput and discus in Track and Field. Playing in-state would be a huge benefit for me as I want to remain close to my biggest support system--my family. But if better opportunities presented themselves elsewhere, I'd also take those into consideration.
