Big-framed safety who brings plus size, ball skills, and physicality to the table. Unverified at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds but looks to be all of that size. Late riser, emerging on the national scene during the spring prior to his senior season. A physical downhill defender. Runs the alley and closes quickly. Stops ball carriers in their tracks on contact. Lowers his shoulder and shows very good striking power. Also provides a physical presence over the middle of the field. Pairs that physicality with excellent ball skills that he shows while playing on both sides of the ball on Friday nights. Has a large catch radius, extending to come down with passes well outside his frame. A fluid functional mover who exhibits good change of direction and range in coverage for a bigger safety. Lacks verified athletic markers. Younger for the cycle with a late March birthday. Father was a wide receiver at Purdue and played in the NFL. Well-rounded skill set points to encouraging upside at the college level and beyond.
