Marcus Parker

Marcus Parker is a Class of 2029 defensive back at Cypress Creek High School in Houston, Texas. As a sophomore competing at the varsity level, Marcus continues to develop as a physical and versatile defensive back who takes pride in competing, playing with effort, and doing whatever is needed to help his team. At 6’2”, 180 pounds with a 4.52 40-yard dash, he brings a strong combination of size, speed, length, and athleticism to the secondary. Marcus is comfortable in coverage, competing at the catch point, supporting the run, and coming downhill to make tackles in space. He continues to work on improving his technique, football IQ, footwork, and overall understanding of the defensive back position. He takes pride in being coachable, disciplined, competitive, and willing to learn. Away from the field, Marcus is focused on continuing to grow as a student-athlete and representing his family, school, and program the right way. He understands that recruiting is a process and is committed to earning every opportunity through his performance, preparation, and work ethic. His goals are to continue producing at the varsity level, improve his verified measurables, compete against top talent at college camps and national showcases, build relationships with college coaching staffs, and ultimately earn the opportunity to continue his academic and football career at the collegiate level.
