Verified 6-foot-1, 275 pounds in June 2026 with a good-looking lower half and strong calves. He has a solid, moldable frame with real room for growth, particularly through his upper body, and I'd like to see him reach 285–290 without sacrificing athleticism at the next level. The length is his biggest physical limitation. I'd estimate a wingspan around 74–75 inches, which confines him to the interior. He's thrown 35 feet 4 inches in the shot put, a respectable mark for his age that lines up with the power he generates once he's engaged. What stands out first is how low…

Top Attributes

- Great flexibility and knee bend; plays low with excellent leverage. - Plays with a high motor; relentless effort and tenacity. - Good understanding of spacing and plays with quality body control and balance.

Areas to Develop

- Must see improvement in his overall athleticism and foot speed. - Needs to increase his upper body strength in order to increase strike power. - Will need to increase mass without sacrificing athletic ability; must get more explosive while getting bigger.

Film Review Notes

Mean and physical interior lineman who plays with tenacity and fire particularly in the run game. Looks to bury defenders and plays through the whistle. Active hands that stay engaged once he has hand positioning; defenders have a hard time shedding him. Plays with a quality base and body control; rarely off-balance and plays with calm feet. Good power in his lower half and does a great job using his legs to drive defenders off the ball. Needs to improve his overall movement skills; must show more short-area quickness and twitch. Lacks ideal length and struggles to strike; bowls into defenders more than initiating strikes with his hands. Good anchor ability at this level, but will need to get stronger in order to function at the next level. Stronger in the run game versus pass protection; has some struggles in open space.

Personal Life

I'm Marshall Kirk, a 6'2", 285-pound left guard at Keller High School in Texas (Class of 2028). This is my second year as the starting left guard. I made varsity as a freshman, and last season I played every offensive snap but two. I can also play center and long snap, so I'm good wherever the coaches need me. On film, I think what stands out is that I finish. I play through the whistle, I like getting up to the second level, and I take it personal if my guy gets anywhere near the QB. Last year our offense ran for over 2,000 yards at 6 yards a carry, and I'm proud of the part our line played in that. Going 5–6 last year was tough, but we still made the playoffs, and I used that to get better. I spent the summer at camps and in the weight room, and so far this year we're 4–0. When I mess up a play, I don't dwell on it. I figure out what went wrong and I go win the next snap. My role on the team is being someone the younger linemen can count on. I also coach youth football, and that's taught me a lot about leading and being patient with people. Off the field, I have a 4.1 GPA, and I want to study engineering. I'm looking for a program where I can compete, keep improving, and be part of a team that plays tough football.
