2027 4-star OT Princeton Uwaifo commits to Tennessee

Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Siegel four-star offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo has committed to Tennessee, he announced on Sunday.
He chose the Volunteers over Nebraska and others. Uwaifo visited Knoxville once again this weekend.
The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder is the No. 303 overall prospect and No. 22 OT in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 12 junior in Tennessee.
“The energy at Tennessee is great,” Uwaifo told Rivals’ Chad Simmons in September. “I like the campus and the coaches too. I saw practice and they went at a really high tempo — that stood out to me as well.”
“Multiple coaches recruit me at Tennessee. They all reach out — call, text, just stay in touch a lot. I love the way they recruit me.”
Uwaifo is commit No. 3 for head coach Josh Heupel and the Vols in the junior cycle. He joins in-state three-star linebacker JP Peace and three-star cornerback Kamauri Whitfield.
I’m looking for that different feeling when I’m on campus, just that sense when I’m around people,” Uwaifo said about his decision-making process. “I want to play for a good team, with a good coaching staff, and how I feel around the people when I’m there will help determine where I go.”

There are three offensive linemen in the mix for Heupel and his staff: Baylor School (Tenn.) four-star OT Gabriel Osenda, Clarksville (Tenn.) Kirkwood four-star OT Kamari Blair and Baltimore St. Frances Academy three-star interior offensive lineman Edward Baker.
Osenda is the headliner, checking in as the No. 102 overall prospect and No. 9 OT in the nation. Blair flipped to the Vols from South Carolina in August and is the No. 21 OT overall.
Ahead of Osenda is six top-100 commits. The class jewels are Hattiesburg (Miss.) five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys, who flipped from LSU at the end of August, and Greensboro (N.C.) five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon. Keys remains the No. 1 receiver in the nation, while Brandon, who’s been committed for over 14 months, is the No. 3 QB overall.
Ogden (Utah) four-star athlete Salesi Moa is the No. 52 recruit overall. Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland four-star safety Joel Wyatt and Jackson (Miss.) four-star linebacker TJ White are others at the top of the pledge list. Tennessee’s full class to date can be seen here.
