2027 EDGE Brian Demoss enjoys time with Wisconsin coaches

Brian Demoss has turned into a nice recruit in the Midwest. The Chicago (Ill.) Simeon three-star EDGE has offers from schools in the Big Ten, Big 12, and SEC programs.

On Saturday, he made the short trip up to Madison to check Wisconsin get a win over Middle Tennessee by the score of 42-10. Demoss has to been to Wisconsin to visit before but this visit really helped the Badgers with their pursuit of him.

“The visit was great,” Demoss said.

Actually, I like the (outside linebackers/special teams) Coach (Matt) Mitchell. That’s what stood out the most. The advice he gave me was needed. He was very encouraging. I did love the interaction between the fans,teams and coaches. The game was exciting as well with a lot of great plays.”

Once again Wisconsin’s campus played a starring role in this visit. Demoss said that Madison is smaller than Chicago but he loves the campus being on the water. It’s also not far from home which he likes.

One of the things that made this trip different for Demoss was the time he was able to spend with other recruits. That includes a player he lined up against on Friday night.

“Isaac Miller was super cool,” Demoss said.

“Harlan Kuehn and T.J. Lewis, who I played against the night before, was cool too. T.J. Lewis said I tried to kill him, that was super funny. But I have mad respect for his game. Isaac and Harlan are both edge rushers. We just all were taking in the moment. Everyone wished each other a great season.”

After the visit, Demoss is looking to get to Michigan. There hasn’t been an exact date set yet but he’s hoping to have one soon.
