2027 Top-30 recruit Scottie Adkinson commits to Mizzou

Scottie Adkinson, one of the top point guards in the 2027 class, has made an early commitment to Mizzou.

The four-star, 6-foot-2 rising junior attends Webster Groves High in Saint Louis, MO.

Adkinson is ranked as the No. 26 overall player in the 2027 class, according to On3. He’s also the No. 6 point guard and the No. 2 player in Missouri.

Along with Mizzou, he also received offers from Illinois, Louisville, Iowa, Virginia Tech, and others.

“I chose Missouri because they have really been by my side since day 1. Always coming to watch me play, to even being on campus all the time, and I love Coach Gates. And just not the coach, but even the person he is!”

“What led me to trust in Coach Gates and the staff was their ability to accept me for a person and player and all of the things that will prepare me for the next level. I think Coach Gates will be the best coach to maximize my game!”

“I would describe myself as a high IQ, smooth, and very versatile guard who does every little thing on the court to win and be the best teammate there is and take charges!”
