Glen Burnie (Md.) Good Counsel four-star athlete <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/neeo-avery-146452/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Neeo Avery</a> will be announcing his commitment on July 31. He announced the news over social media. 



Avery is the No. 253 overall prospect and the No. 10 athlete in the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2023 On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. The former <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/penn-state-nittany-lions/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Penn State</a> commit is also the No. 6 player in Maryland.

Avery announced a top four of <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/kentucky-wildcats/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kentucky</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/maryland-terrapins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Maryland</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/ole-miss-rebels/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ole Miss</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/oregon-ducks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oregon</a> on July 6. According to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/neeo-avery-146452/recruiting/154877/rpm/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine</a>, the Rebels have the best chance to land Avery’s pledge at 15.6%. He has visited Ole Miss three times unofficially, with his most recent unofficial visit coming today. The 6-foot-4.5, 225 pound prospect also took official visits to Maryland and Kentucky on June 3 and June 17, respectively. 



The RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with <a href="https://spiny.ai/">Spiny.ai</a> to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 



It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.



Avery has an On3 NIL Valuation of <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/neeo-avery-146452/nil/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">$17.4K</a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
