Crib Classic Combine: Players to Watch

The inaugural Crib Classic Combine will showcase high school football players from South Florida. Participants will go through a series of athletic testing, and combine drills for quarterbacks, wide receivers, defensive backs, running backs, and linebackers.
The event will conclude with one-on-ones and an award ceremony.
Here are some of the top players that will be in attendance.
Tromone Isaac, 2028 wide receiver, Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, FL)
The most outstanding player from the Crib Classic Seven-on-Seven Tournament is back for an encore. Tromone Isaac was a menace to defenders in that tournament, and he is likely to put many on notice at the CCC further. It will be nice to see how he fares against top competition.
Darryl Bell, 2026 defensive back, Barbara Goleman (Miami Lakes, FL)
The Florida State commit will get an opportunity to cement his four-star status at this event. Darryl Bell, the strong DB, uses his body to veer defenders off of routes, and he keeps his head around to make plays.
Playing at Goleman Bell does not see the best competition that South Florida has to offer, but he will have plenty of chances to prove his worth on Saturday.
Brandon Kinsey, 2026 wide receiver, Miami Central
Although heading to the Big Ten to play for the Purdue Boilermakers is a high achievement, it seems that Brandon Kinsey deserves a bit more. He consistently plays with a chip on his shoulder, and this event is an opportunity to show the nation how much he has been overlooked.
A’mir Sears, 2028 wide receiver, West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL)
The talented sophomore A’mir Sears was not present for the Crib Classic Seven-on-Seven Tournament, as West Broward was not one of the participating schools. However, Sears made a big impression this summer at a University of Miami 7-on-7 tournament, where his team won the championship.
Sears is a crafty route runner and shows signs of an explosive playmaker with the football in his hands. It will be interesting to see how he fares against some top DBs.
Trae Proctor, 2027, tight end, Miami Southridge
The former Norland tight end is now part of a promising Southridge team and will look to continue an impressive summer. Trae Proctor has the athleticism of a wide receiver and should be able to get open against linebackers.
At the FAU/FSU camp this summer, Proctor looked impressive against cornerbacks, and it will be interesting to see if he lines up against DBs on Saturday.
Jack Spaeder, 2027, quarterback, Western (Davie, FL)
The combine will have an impressive group of quarterbacks on display, especially from the 2027 class. One of those talents on display will be Jack Spaeder, the 6-3 190 190-pound signal caller, who perhaps should be getting more attention than he receives. This event is an excellent opportunity to show that he can play at the Power Four level.
Steven Moore, 2028, linebacker, Miami Central
Steven Moore is one of the more impressive young athletes in South Florida and will have a golden opportunity to make a greater name for himself on this stage.
Moore is very instinctive in coverage and will be tough to beat in one-on-ones. His ascension is bound to continue after the Crib Classic Combine.

Javan Allison, 2026, cornerback, Miami Norland
The senior corner, Javan Allison, has been impressive in his career at Norland, but has yet to see the number of offers he deserves. The technical corner/safety has the tools and size (6-1, 170) to make an impact on the next level and will have plenty of opportunities to strap up high-level receivers. His performance could be critical for his future.
James Perrone, 2027, quarterback, Miami Southridge
The junior quarterback James Perrone had an impressive performance at the seven-on-seven tournament and was just a few passes away from taking home the Crib Classic title. Perrone can make every throw, and this setting should be an event in which he should thrive.
Zac Katz, 2027, quarterback, True North (Miami, FL)
As is the case with Perrone, Zac Katz was just a few throws away from winning the Crib Classic Seven-on-Seven Tournament Championship. The upcoming junior has been a standout since his freshman year, but many want to see him take his game to the next level.
He is another player who plays with a chip on his shoulder, and he will be looking to perform at a high level on Saturday.
Cordell Gibson, 2028, running back, Florida Christian
The sophomore running back Cordell Gibson plays for a small school in Florida Christian, but has made a name for himself as one of the most impressive ’28 prospects in Florida.
But playing for Florida Christian does not necessarily prove that he can perform at a high level against top competition. The Crib Classic Combine will prove if he indeed belongs.
Trezavant Boyd, 2027, athlete, Mater Academy (Hialeah, FL)
There has been plenty of hype surrounding Trezavant Boyd, the junior from Mater Academy, this summer. He has natural instincts as a cover corner; it will be interesting to see how he performs against top competition.
Jayden Ford, 2026, running back, Miami Central
The explosive running back from Miami Central, Jayden Ford, has provided plenty of highlight plays during his career, and we should expect more from him at the CCC.
