Dylan Mingo, a five-star point guard in the 2026 class, is taking an official visit to Alabama this weekend.

This will be the third fourth visit for the 6-foot-5 rising senior of Long Island Lutheran (NY) as he’s also been to UConn, Washington, and Miami.

Joining Mingo in Tuscaloosa will be five-star SG Caleb Holt (No. 4 NATL) and four-star SF Jaxon Richardson (No. 21 NATL).

Mingo also holds offers from schools like North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Baylor, NC State, and others.

He is ranked as the No. 5 overall player in the Rivals Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 1 point guard and the No. 1 player in New York.

More from Mingo

In a previous interview with Rivals, Dylan Mingo discussed the next steps in his recruitment and what he wants in a college program.

”I’ll probably take anywhere between five to eight visits,” Mingo said. “I’ll probably bring going on them anywhere from after Peach Jam to probably November, or December. If it goes well, I’ll most likely commit before my season.

“I want to play for a coach that values me a lot,” Mingo said. Well, not even just the coach, the whole program. I want to have a strong relationship with the coaches, especially the head coach, and the whole coaching staff. And a winning program. I’d like to compete for a championship, and also a program that’s willing to play a freshman.”
