Four-star C Trevon Carter-Givens commits to NC State

Trevon Carter-Givens, a four-star center in the 2026 class, has committed to NC State, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-10 center out of SoCal Academy (CA) ultimately chose the Wolfpack over USC and San Diego State. He also received offers from Washington, New Mexico, TCU, Creighton, Seton Hall, Florida State, and others.

Givens, a California native, is ranked as the No. 108 overall player in the nation, according to the Rivals Top-150 Player Rankings. He’s also the No. 16 ranked center.

“I chose NC State because it felt like the best fit for me on and off the court. The culture and the vision the coaches have for me really stood out.”

What led to his trust in the coaching staff?

“They showed consistency in how much they believed in me. I trust them because I know they’re invested in my development, not just as a player but as a person too.”

“A rim protector and a lob threat.”
