2026 WR Devyon Hill-Lomax commits to Missouri

For the third day in a row, Missouri has added a commitment to its 2026 recruiting class.
Edwardsville (Ill.) three-star wide receiver Devyon Hill-Lomax told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he has pledged to the Tigers, giving head coach Eli Drinkwitz and Co. its seventh commit this cycle. He chose the SEC program while also holding offers from the likes of Illinois, Purdue, Iowa State and Kentucky.
Hill-Lomax is the No. 127 wide receiver and No. 25 player in Illinois in the 2026 cycle, per the On3 rankings. He checks in as the No. 1,163 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Mizzou was Hill-Lomax’s fourth Division I offer back in October. He becomes the second receiver in the Tigers’ class for coach Jacob Peeler, flanking Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star Jabari Brady, a top-400 recruit.
As a junior for Edwardsville, Hill-Lomax caught 18 passes for 341 yards and four touchdowns. The Tigers won eight games in 2024 and finished as the No. 30 team in Illinois, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.
Mizzou starting to stack commitments this summer
On Monday, Chicago Whitney Young three-star running back Maxwell Warner announced his pledge to the Tigers. On Tuesday, Detroit Cass Technical three-star interior offensive lineman Khalief Canty did the same.
Warrington (Pa.) La Salle College four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar was the first to commit to Mizzou this cycle, doing so on April 18. He ranks No. 294 overall and is the No. 22 QB in the nation. It’s the second cycle in a row that Mizzou has won out for a Keystone State gunslinger, as elite four-star QB Matt Zollers signed in December.

“The coaches have high expectations for the program,” Sidwar told On3’s Steve Wiltfong about Mizzou. “They feel like my skillset fits their style and expect I’ll come in and be a guy in the future that can help achieve their goals.”
Sidwar, Brady and St. Louis University four-star linebacker Keenan Harris are the three blue-chippers in the Mizzou class to date. Harris committed in May and is the No. 29 LB and No. 6 player in Missouri this cycle.
“It means a lot to stay home and play for Missouri, especially coming from a place like St. Louis,” Harris told On3’s Chad Simmons. “The whole city will be looking and watching me put them on my back and there is nothing else I could really ask for. Nothing better than that.”
Omaha Millard South three-star tight end Isaac Jensen rounds out the class alongside the trio of new commits. The class currently ranks No. 62 in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
