National Signing Day: Live updates on nation's 2026 top recruits
The biggest day on the recruiting calendar has arrived for the 2026 class: National Signing Day.
Prospects across the country will sign with the programs of their choice, with many set to enroll early for the spring semester. But there’s still plenty of excitement to come with commitments, flips and more unexpected news in the coming days.
Rivals is providing wall-to-wall coverage with live updates, news, notes and the latest intel from our team of national and school-specific recruiting experts. Track the movement on the class rankings throughout the day on the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings page. Also keep up with the latest expert projections on the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Coveted 4-star QB Landon Duckworth yet to sign
12/03/2025 09:16:31 AMThere has been very little drama around the top quarterbacks in this class — at least today. Five-Star Plus+ QB Jared Curtis flipped to Vanderbilt on Tuesday, but otherwise, everything has mostly gone according to plan.
But a new wrinkle could make things interesting. Longtime South Carolina commit Landon Duckworth has yet to officially sign with the Gamecocks. He told Rivals’ Chad Simmons last night he was locked in, but he has yet to be announcing as part of the signing class in Columbia.
And as Steve Wiltfong said just a little bit ago on our live show, the signature was expected this morning. LSU has made a late push since Lane Kiffin took over, and this will be one to watch today and potentially the rest of the week.
Illinois flips Alabama RB commit Javari Barnett
12/03/2025 09:09:08 AMIn another National Signing Day surprise, Illinois has flipped Alabama three-star running back commit Javari Barnett.
He had been committed to the Crimson Tide since June, but the Illini had been one of his top schools all along. After missing much of his junior year with a knee injury, he bounced back this fall to rush 74 times for 497 yards and five touchdowns.
Washington looking to add another big-time WR
12/03/2025 08:48:39 AMFrom Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman:
The Huskies flipped Rivals Industry Ranking 4-star WR Jordan Clay away from Baylor on Signing Day Eve.
They also took a massive step forward with another 4-star target.
Rivals300 WR Trez Davis and his family took an official visit to Seattle last month and the Huskies have not stopped swinging away at the touted pass-catcher from Louisiana. Me and colleague Steve Wiltfong have moved our prediction to the Huskies.
“I love Washington,” Davis told Rivals after logging his official visit, which inserted the Huskies right into the thick of the race for the former Tulane commit. “The coaching staff was amazing and the atmosphere caught my attention. I could see myself playing there.”
Kevin Cummings and the Huskies’ coaching staff made a lasting impression on Davis and his entire family with a strong emphasis on the program’s rich tradition of NFL draft picks and development at his position. Sources informed on this recruitment told Rivals that his family’s visit to Seattle ranked as their favorite official visit.
The Huskies have been very motivated to add the Rivals300 prospect from powerhouse West Monroe (La.) High School ever since. They’re trending to do that ahead of a Wednesday AM announcement.
Optimism growing at Auburn around two late additions
12/03/2025 08:44:49 AMRivals’ Chad Simmons has the latest on four-star Texas defensive line commit Corey Wells, a top flip target for Auburn.
“There’s optimism at Auburn that they can flip Corey Wells from Texas. Of course, for both schools, his brother, Chris Wells, is part of the package. Auburn may be willing to spend a little more on the pair than Texas I am told this morning. The situation is still very fluid.”
Michigan battling to hold onto elite EDGE Julian Walker
12/03/2025 08:28:02 AMColumbia (S.C) four-star EDGE Julian Walker has been a major rankings riser this fall, checking in as a borderline five-star prospect in the latest Rivals update last month. He has been a longtime Michigan commit, but has very strong ties to South Carolina. In addition to being from Columbia, his dad is on staff with the Gamecocks.
And they are making a big late run at flipping him. Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong has the latest intel as the tug-of-war continues.
Vanderbilt, Purdue looking to pull off late flips
12/03/2025 08:16:45 AMAfter arguably its biggest recruiting win in program history on Tuesday — flipping Five-Star Plus+ QB Jared Curtis from Georgia — Vanderbilt is looking for more. Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong has moved his prediction for three-star wide receiver Owen Cabell from Alabama, where he’s committed, to the Commodores.
Purdue, meanwhile, is looking for a big late addition of its own. Four-star safety Jett Goldsberry is a Boilermakers legacy and has been a top flop target. With the coaching staff shakeup at Ole Miss, he is now trending toward Purdue.
Both Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong and Greg Smith has logged predictions for the Boilermakers to win out.
Florida trending to hold on to key commit
12/03/2025 08:13:22 AMThe situation around Florida and four-star EDGE commit KJ Ford has been touch-and-go since head coach Billy Napier was fired. A number of other schools have pushed to flip him, most notably USC and Texas A&M. As late as yesterday, the buzz was around the Aggies.
But according to Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong, things are trending in the direction of Ford sticking with the Gators new staff under Jon Sumrall and signing with UF.
Michigan 4-star WR commit Zion Robinson delays signing
12/03/2025 08:05:40 AMFor the most part, all has gone according to plan on Wednesday for Michigan. But four-star wide receiver Zion Robinson posted on social media that he is delaying his signing until further notice.
Robinson has been committed to the Wolverines since June, but this will be one to watch in the coming days.
Lane Kiffin gets a big addition at LSU, looking for more
12/03/2025 07:59:59 AMThe recruiting world has been abuzz since Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU. The new Tigers’ staff has been working to fill out its class in the final days before NSD, and they landed a big addition Wednesday in four-star wide receiver Corey Barber.
Barber decommitted from Ole Miss Sunday and now reunites with Kiffin in Baton Rouge. Rivals’ Chad Simmons has the details.
The Tigers are hoping to get a pair of five-star commits signed as well, and Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman updates with the latest on that.
“The agents for 5-star DL Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson met with members of the LSU staff, including Lane Kiffin, Billy Glasscock and Blake Baker for close to four hours on Tuesday night. In the aftermath of those conversations, the arrow was tilted up for Anderson to potentially sign with LSU. A final decision will be made this morning. Brown’s representation is set to meet with LSU again on Wednesday morning. There is a very good likelihood both are signed before the end of this week.” — Spiegelman
Schools still pushing to flip 5-star WR Chris Henry Jr.
12/03/2025 07:28:21 AMFive-star wideout Chris Henry Jr. has been in Ohio State’s class for more than two years, dating back to the summer of 2023. Multiple programs have tried — unsuccessfully — to move him off that pledge. And that won’t end until ink hits paper. West Virginia, USC and Oregon have been the schools connected most to Henry in the final weeks.
Multiple 5-stars already signed
12/03/2025 06:50:21 AMWhile there are a few elite prospects with some drama still surrounding their recruitments, a handful of have eliminated any questions by getting their signing documents in early. Among them:
OT Ekene Ogboko – Georgia
CB Jay Timmons – Ohio State
EDGE Carter Meadows – Michigan
QB Dia Bell – Texas
SAF Joey O’Brien – Notre Dame
OT Grayson McKeogh – Notre Dame
EDGE LaDamion Guyton – Texas Tech
Latest intel on LSU 5-star commitments
12/03/2025 06:38:26 AMRivals’ Sam Spiegelman provides the latest update on Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson, a pair of LSU commits who have wavered about whether they will sign this week.

Ole Miss enters the mix for 4-star Gators commit
12/02/2025 11:15:13 PMMultiple programs, namely Georgia Tech and most recently LSU, have been working to flip Milton (Fla.) safety Kaiden Hall from Florida in recent weeks but a late entrant to the race may be the biggest threat to the Gators.
A source close to Hall’s recruitment told On3’s Pete Nakos that the Ole Miss Rebels have made up ground in Hall’s recruitment this week and are a real threat to move him off of his Florida pledge.
This situation may not be resolved on National Signing Day as Wyatt plans to sign his paperwork on Friday, which is his birthday.
Tennessee fends off late LSU push for 4-star DB
12/02/2025 11:09:11 PMFour-star safety Joel Wyatt has been committed to Tennessee since July, but LSU and new head coach Lane Kiffin had been in heavy pursuit this week working toward a flip. Those efforts appear to have been in vain.
A source close to Wyatt’s recruitment told Rivals’ Chad Simmons that Wyatt will stick with his commitment and sign with the Vols on National Signing day.
Wyatt ranks No. 73 overall and No. 6 at his position in the Rivals Industry Rankings.
