Northwestern lost another member of its talented 2026 recruiting class out of the Lone Star State.

Class of 2026 safety Davis Kinney has been a ballhawk all season long for Richmond (Texas) Fort Bend Travis.

The 3-star prospect decommitted from the Wildcats on Monday, he tells Rivals.

Other programs have continued to chip away at the talented safety, who has corralled six interceptions, including two pick-6s, and four total touchdowns as a senior so far.

Kinney is the Rivals Industry Ranking No. 59 safety in the country and the No. 91 overall prospect from the state of Texas in this class.
