4-star LB Anthony Davis sets official visit to Ole Miss
Ole Miss continues to emerge as a legitimate contender in the recruitment of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star linebacker Anthony Davis.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder has already taken multiple trips to Oxford this year, and on Tuesday, he announced via X that he’ll be back soon for an official visit.
Davis will take an OV with the Rebels next weekend from June 6-8. He’s set to take his official to Auburn this weekend and has also locked in a trip to Alabama for the weekend of June 20.
He is the No. 249 overall prospect and No. 17 LB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 27 player in Georgia.
Head coach Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss staff had Davis on campus last month. Not long after that trip, which followed a successful January visit, the Rebels began to garner some buzz as a team to watch in his recruitment.
“Ole Miss has come on strong in the race for linebacker Anthony Davis,” On3’s Chad Simmons wrote. “He was back in Oxford recently and the Rebels continue to trend upwards. Auburn has been considered to be the team to beat for the Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star, but the Tigers have company. Other schools are in the mix, but Ole Miss has been one not talked about a lot in this recruitment that needs to be in this discussion now.”
Now, the Rebels will get another shot at making an in-person splash with Davis. Texas and USC are other programs that Davis once tabbed as potential OV destinations.
Playing for one of the top high school football programs in Georgia, Davis tallied 105 total tackles as a junior. The Rams won a state title and finished as the No. 7 team in the nation, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.

More on Ole Miss Recruiting
To date, Ole Miss has eight commits in its class that ranks No. 15 nationally, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. A Sunshine State prospect headlines the pledge list.
Leesburg (Fla.) Tavares four-star Izayia Williams flipped to the Rebels from Florida on May 2. Also a former Louisville, Syracuse and Florida State commit, Williams still checks in as the No. 50 recruit and No. 3 LB this cycle.
Williams is one of three four-stars in the class, alongside De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County four-star running back Damarius Yates, a top-150 recruit and the No. 12 RB nationally, as well as Hoover (Ala.) Spain Park four-star wide receiver Corey Barber.
Ole Miss landed two commitments in April via Austin (Texas) Westlake three-star quarterback Rees Wise and Nettleton (Miss.) Tupelo three-star cornerback Braylon Williams. Wise is a top-500 prospect and currently the nation’s No. 30 QB. He plays for one of the top high school programs in Texas.
Niceville (Fla.) three-star athlete Zion Legree has been in the class since November. He rounds things out alongside Williams, Sacramento Folsom three-star wide receiver Jameson Powell and Montgomery (Ala.) Pike Road three-star RB Ja’Michael Jones, the No. 37 RB in the cycle.
