Ole Miss Football Recruiting: Rebels have another Top-25 class this cycle

Ole Miss has hovered around the No. 20 spot in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings for the entire Lane Kiffin era. That’s tracking once again in the 2026 cycle.
As of Oct. 8, the Rebels currently have the No. 19 class in the nation. That’s thanks to 19 commits, nine of which are blue-chippers. Ole Miss hasn’t had as much momentum on the trail as other SEC programs, but the Rebels have still closed on some top targets and are making strides this fall.
Kiffin and Co. are hunting for flips after losing Rivals’ No. 1 linebacker Izayia Williams to Florida State this summer. They’ve landed a couple, with four-star offensive tackle Emanuel Tucker and four-star cornerback Dorian Barney both pulling the trigger this fall.
Five Magnolia State prospects are in the class to date, including Tucker and De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County four-star running back Damarius Yates. He’s now the nation’s No. 113 recruit and No. 10 RB. Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star wide receiver Corey Barber also committed to Ole Miss in May.
There were other big additions to the class in the summer, too. Duncanville (Texas) four-star EDGE Landon Barnes committed on June 30. One day later, Decatur (Ill.) Mt. Zion four-star tight end JC Anderson did the same. Later on in July, the Rebels landed Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland four-star safety Craig Tutt.
