On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Top 10 uncommitted 2024 prospects

The recruitments of the top uncommitted 2024 prospects are coming into focus as coaches shift their attention fully to the junior class. Seventeen of the country’s top 50 prospects are already committed, a rate that would put this cycle ahead of schedule with elite recruits coming off the board. However, four of the country’s 15 five-star recruits in the On3 Consensus are already accounted for, meaning there is plenty of elite talent still left on the board.
With the help of the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, we’re breaking down where things stand with top 10 uncommitted prospects in the 2024 class.
Five-Star Plus+ QB Dylan Raiola
School: Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle
On3 NIL Valuation: $300K
Consensus Ranking: No. 1
On3 RPM: Georgia 33.0%, Nebraska 28.3%, USC 22.3%
The Skinny: After decommitting from Ohio State in December, Raiola has largely been focused on a small handful of programs including USC, Georgia, Nebraska, TCU and Oregon. The former three are thought to be the most legitimate contenders, with USC hosting him for an unofficial visit right before the February dead period. Georgia and Nebraska are both expected to host him in March as they work to close on the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect.
Five-star WR Mike Matthews
School: Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview
On3 NIL Valuation: $193K
Consensus Ranking: No. 3
On3 RPM: Clemson 32.1%, Georgia 21.3%, Tennessee 12.3%, Alabama 10.3%
The Skinny: Matthews has given very little away publicly with his recruitment, but he continues to be high on Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee. Both the Volunteers and Tigers hosted him in January, and they’re expected to be in it until the end alongside the home state Bulldogs.
Five-star safety KJ Bolden
School: Buford (Ga.)
On3 NIL Valuation: $235K
Consensus Ranking: No. 4
On3 RPM: Georgia 27.8%, Ohio State 17.9%, Clemson 13.9%, Alabama 9.3%,
The Skinny: Bolden is another Georgia product drawing interest from every national powerhouse program you can think of. According to On3’s Chad Simmons, Clemson has made up some ground for Bolden, and he has a lot of family in the state of South Carolina. Still, with Georgia’s recent development and draft production, he’ll be hard to pull away from Kirby Smart and Co.
Five-star WR Micah Hudson
School: Temple (Texas) Lake Belton
On3 NIL Valuation: $202K
Consensus Ranking: No. 6
On3 RPM: Texas 30.4%, Texas Tech 23.7%, Ohio State 15.3%, Texas A&M 12.8%
The Skinny: It’s shaping up to be a Lone Star State battle (plus Ohio State) for one of the nation’s best receivers in Hudson. All three local schools have had him on campus multiple times in the past year, with both A&M and Texas getting him to their respective junior days in January. Don’t count out Brian Hartline and the Buckeyes, though. After poaching Jaxon Smith-Njigba in 2020 and Garrett Wilson in 2019, Ohio State is always a threat to land elite receivers from the state of Texas.
Five-star EDGE Colin Simmons
School: Duncanville (Texas)
On3 NIL Valuation: $204K
Consensus Ranking: No. 7
On3 RPM: LSU 88.4%, Texas 2.8%, TCU 1.8%
The Skinny: There are few better pound-for-pound prospects in the country than Simmons, which is exactly why just about everyone is pursuing him. LSU has jumped out to early lead and is considered to be the favorite as things stand today, but Georgia made a big impression on him during his January visit. Alabama, TCU, and Texas are also very much in the hunt, and this could go all the way until December.
Five-star DL David Stone
School: Oklahoma City (Okla.) IMG Academy
On3 NIL Valuation: $184K
Consensus Ranking: No. 8
On3 RPM: Michigan State 51.8%, Oklahoma 45.0%

The Skinny: A native of Oklahoma, Stone has long been considered a heavy lean to the in-state Sooners. But Mel Tucker and Michigan State have flipped that thinking on its head. Stone visited East Lansing in back-to-back weeks last month, and the Spartans have gone all in on him as their top target in this cycle. He is another who could take this down to the wire, but given the comments he’s made about how his family loves MSU, it also wouldn’t be a shock to see an early commitment.
Five-star DL Williams Nwaneri
School: Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North
On3 NIL Valuation: $160K
Consensus Ranking: No. 10
On3 RPM: Missouri 24.8%, Kansas 13.2%, Nebraska 11.3%, Oregon 9.4%, Kansas State 6.4%
The Skinny: Nwaneri has exploded onto the national scene over the past year and established himself as one of the top country’s top defensive recruits. Home-state Missouri has made an early impression, and Nwaneri does like the idea of staying closer to home. But they’ll have to fight off a few local rivals, as well as Alabama, Oregon, and a number of national powerhouses.
Five-star WR Joshisa Trader
School: Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep
On3 NIL Valuation: $190K
Consensus Ranking: No. 11
On3 RPM: Miami 66.7%, Ohio State 29.4%
The Skinny: Many saw Trader and five-star Ohio State commit Jeremiah Smith as a package receiver deal for the Buckeyes, but not so fast. Trader has become arguably the top target this cycle for Mario Cristobal, and he likes the idea of playing close to home. Whether the Hurricanes’ offense improves this fall could playing a major factor in where he ultimately lands.
Five-star DL Eddrick Houston
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 12
School: Buford (Ga.)
On3 NIL Valuation: $141K
On3 RPM: Georgia 32.7%, Clemson 11.8%, Tennessee 10.1%, Alabama 8.4%
After Clemson took two of the top defensive linemen out of the state of Georgia last cycle, the Bulldogs will be working to ensure that doesn’t happen again in 2024. Defensive line coach Tray Scott is leading the way for Georgia in his recruitment, while Clemson’s Nick Eason, one of the best d-line recruiters in the country, is in charge for Clemson.
Five-star LB Sammy Brown
School: Jefferson (Ga.)
Consensus Ranking: No. 13
On3 NIL Valuation: $153K
On3 RPM: Clemson 27.2%, Georgia 19.9%, Tennessee 10.4%, Ohio State 8.7%
Sporting a mullet and running a sub-11 second 100-meter dash as a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker has made Sammy Brown one of the most popular recruits in the 2024 class. But his play on the field at Jefferson (Ga.) has made him one of the sought-after prospects by colleges across the country. Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and Ohio State are among the dozens of offers on the table for him, and both the Tigers and Bulldogs have made strong early impressions.
