4-star WR Zion Ragins names top 12 schools

Gray (Ga.) Jones County four-star wide receiver Zion Ragins holds more than 20 offers. He is now ready to cut down his list.
Ragins announced his top 12 schools on Tuesday: Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Miami, Auburn, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, and Western Kentucky.
“I talk to those schools the most and I have good connections with coaches at each school,” Ragins told On3. “That is what put them up on top for me.”
The 5-foot-9, 170-pound wideout has visited Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Tennessee. He saw the Sooners on Jan. 30.

“I had a great time,” said Ragins, the No. 71 overall prospect and No. 12 wide receiver in the 2024 On3 Consensus. “I really like the offense and the coaches out there. That is really how I feel about each of these schools.”
Ragins plans to focus on track this spring and at the moment and does not have any visits scheduled. He expects to take his officials in the summer alongside his parents. Right now, the four-star is figuring out which schools will get official visits. He expects to commit ahead of his senior season.
“I am looking for who I have the best connection with and the academics,” Ragins said. “The offense is important to me too.”
