Noah Rogers Scouting Reports
Noah Rogers catches three touchdowns in senior season debut
8/19/22Noah Rogers continued his stat-stuffing ways on Friday, hauling in three touchdowns in a 52-28 win over state-ranked Southern Pines (N.C.) Pinecrest. The five-star receiver continued to show off his ability as one of the best deep threats in the 2023 cycle. Rogers stacked opposing cornerbacks when facing man coverage and gained separation downfield. He nearly had four touchdowns on the night, but had a walk-in score go through his hands – possibly losing the ball in the lights. Rogers also showed effort and physicality as a blocker on the edge.
Noah Rogers earns 5th star from On3
7/18/22Ohio State wide receiver commit Noah Rogers (No. 17) has put together a strong resume to this point, most recently showing his big-play ability at OT7. The Buckeyes and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline have assembled another strong class of pass-catchers, with Rogers as the headliner in our opinion. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has excellent play speed, backed by strong testing numbers. He got vertical against talented defensive backs with regularity at OT7. This jives with what he shows on Friday nights as well. Rogers accounted for 1,432 yards and 22 touchdowns on 70 catches as a junior at Rolesville (N.C.) High.
Noah Rogers shows deep threat ability at Overtime OT7
6/13/22Top 50 wide receiver Noah Rogers probably scored the most full-field touchdowns at OT7. Rogers was primarily used as a deep threat for the Carolina Stars and got vertical on defensive backs on numerous occasions. We didn’t see much of a varied route tree from the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder, but the play speed was readily apparent.
Noah Rogers Scouting Summary
Primary3/4/22Athletic, twitchy pass-catcher who had one of the more productive high school careers among receivers in the 2023 cycle. Has one of the better combinations of size and speed among pass catchers in 2023. Measured around 6-foot-2, 193 pounds with a 6-foot-6 wing-span. Posted an electronically-timed 4.49 second 40-yard dash prior to his junior season. A twitchy, bouncy athlete who shows the ability to get vertical with ease due to his long speed. Has often made big plays as a deep threat, both at the high school level and in neutral settings. Shows some springy tendencies and the ability to come down with acrobatic, high-point grabs. Also capable of taking short passes or end arounds to the house. Continued to improve his routes and change of direction as a senior. Had a fantastic junior season with 1,430 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns while averaging over 20.5 per catch. Was not a high volume target as a senior, but was highly efficient, catching 39 passes for 799 yards and 15 touchdowns. Has solid to good ball skills but can continue improving his strength and consistency at the catch point.
Noah Rogers an On3 top performer at UA Next Atlanta Camp
2/27/22Noah Rogers entered the event as the top-ranked receiver prospect on hand and lived up to that lofty status. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder made the long drive down from Rolesville, North Carolina to compete against some of the nation’s best. Rogers had no issues with ball skills and was among the more explosive receivers throughout drills and 1-on-1’s. The top 100 prospect used his speed to get behind defensive backs for a some wins in 1-on-1’s and made a few extended grabs.
