PJ Williams Scouting Summary
Charles Power
10/28/21

Owns the best combination of length and athleticism among offensive tackles in the 2022 cycle. Has a lean build with extreme length, sporting a 7-foot wingspan. Posted strong combine numbers in change of direction and straight-line speed prior to his senior season. His length has given top pass rushers issues in camp settings. Much leaner than many other top offensive tackles but has functional play strength with an impressive ability to anchor on contact. Has added weight to his frame, gaining at least 20 to 30 pounds prior to his senior season. Upping his play as a senior with the added weight and strength. Finishing blocks with authority and continuing to show his athleticism at the second level. Can continue improving his ankle flexion. Will likely need a redshirt year but has some of the higher long-term upside among 2022 offensive tackles.

Personal Life

As a sophomore, PJ Williams started on the Dickinson varsity basketball team that claimed the regional championship. On the gridiron, Williams made the transition from the defensive line to offensive tackle as a sophomore and has earned all-district honors at the position ever since. Williams pledged to Texas A&M on June, 4, 2021, the same day that high school teammate, tight end Donovan Green, also pledged to the Aggies. Dickinson is also home to current Aggie All-American tight end Jalen Wydermeyer.
