Instinctual safety with tone-setting physicality. Measured in at a shade under 6-feet and around 195 pounds prior to his senior season. Turned in a strong final prep campaign, earning the distinction of a senior riser. A true physical presence at safety. Triggers quickly as a cover down defender. A big-time striker who looks to detonate on ball carriers. Drives through his tackles. Plays with a dogged effort level. Does not give up on plays, making tackles and delivering hits from across the field. A dangerous blitzer. Closes quickly to make plays behind the line of scrimmage. More than comfortable rolling into the box. Also works in coverage both in the slot and as a deep safety. Shows the ability to jump routes. Likely projects as a strong safety. Registers as a solid, not great athlete with average speed. Plays faster than he runs on the track. Young for the cycle, turning 18 years old in June prior to his freshman season of college football.
