Weston Davis is a two-sport star at Beaumont (Texas) United. Along with accolades on the football field, Davis is a star basketball player for one of the top programs in the Lone Star State. Davis told Rivals.com that playing basketball helps him be a better football player. “Basketball really helps my footwork and conditioning,” Davis said. What makes Davis' rise to a nationally recruited football prospect even more impressive is he didn’t play football until he arrived at high school. “I just need to get more down on the fundamentals of football before I go to college,” Davis said following his junior year. “I just need to understand more about what I need to do at my position. I've only played 22 games of football my whole life.”
